What’s included

Accident cover, and your health as a woman too.

Accident cover and women’s health cover, in a single policy.

Breast cancer indemnity

Capital on diagnosis of breast cancer, with its own rules and a 1-year waiting period.

Death and disability from accident

Capital for beneficiaries or compensation on a scale, with temporary disability cover for as long as the incapacity lasts.

Support during cancer treatment

Assistance and support throughout cancer treatment.

Medical assistance after an accident

Costs of necessary care, including emergency care, plus travel assistance and a recovery/aesthetic course after a covered accident.

There’s no waiting period for pure accident cover; for cancer it’s 1 year, and for obstetrics, 2 years. Exclusions include high-risk sports and competitions, injuries with no demonstrable accidental cause, and cancer diagnosed before the policy took effect. Full details on exclusions and scales are in the General Conditions, which I explain before you take out the policy.

Frequently asked questions

Before you write to me.

The questions I get asked most. If yours isn’t here, write to me and I’ll answer personally.

How is this different from life insurance? +
Accident insurance covers the consequences of an accident and, here, certain women’s health cover; life insurance covers death from any cause. They complement each other.
What does it cover besides accidents? +
Cover such as breast cancer indemnity, support during cancer treatment and medical assistance after an accident.
Do I have to wait to be covered? +
Not for accidents; there’s a 1-year waiting period for cancer and 2 years for obstetrics.
Does it cover me if I do sport? +
Regular sport, yes; high-risk sports and competitions are excluded. I’ll confirm based on your case.
I’m a homemaker, is this for me? +
Yes: if an accident leaves you incapacitated, the household feels it; this insurance gives you financial backup.
Can I choose the capital? +
Yes, we adjust the death and disability capital to what you need.
What happens if I’m diagnosed with breast cancer before taking out the insurance? +
Cancer diagnosed before the policy takes effect is excluded from this cover’s specific indemnity; that’s why it’s best to take it out while healthy, not once there’s already a diagnosis.
Is the breast cancer indemnity compatible with other insurance I have? +
Yes, it’s a benefit separate from your health or life insurance: if you have several policies, each one pays its own indemnity under its own conditions.
What does the support during cancer treatment include? +
Support services throughout the treatment process, designed so you don’t have to face it alone from a practical and emotional point of view; I’ll detail the exact scope based on the current policy wording.
Does it cover a beauty/recovery course after an accident? +
Yes, it includes an allowance for image recovery (a beauty course) after an accident covered by the policy, designed to support that part of the recovery too.
What happens if I have an accident while pregnant? +
The accident itself is covered under the cover you’ve taken out; the specific obstetric cover has its own 2-year waiting period, which I’ll explain in detail.
Does it cover the medical costs of an accident at home? +
Yes, the medical expenses cover for accidents includes the care needed as a result of an accident, including one that happens at home.
Can I take it out if I already have health insurance? +
Yes, they’re compatible products: health insurance covers your general medical care; this one focuses on accidents and specific women’s health cover such as breast cancer. See Health Insurance →
What happens if the diagnosis is a different type of cancer, not breast cancer? +
This policy’s specific indemnity is designed for breast cancer; for other types, it’s worth checking whether you have other cover (such as life insurance with a cancer benefit) that could apply.
Does it cover travel assistance if I have an accident outside Spain? +
Yes, it includes travel assistance for accidents that happen during a trip, within the policy’s limits and conditions.
Is there an age limit to take out this insurance? +
There may be an age range for taking out cover depending on particular conditions; I’ll confirm the current range when I prepare your quote.
What happens if I have a relapse of an earlier cancer? +
Relapses or metastasis of a tumour diagnosed before the policy are excluded from the specific cancer indemnity, the same as any other pre-existing condition that isn’t covered.
Can I increase the disability capital later on? +
Yes, at renewal or through an endorsement we can look at adjusting the death and disability capital to your new situation.
Do I need a medical exam to take it out? +
For the usual capital amounts, a health questionnaire is normally enough; in some specific cases an additional test may be requested, which I’ll confirm based on your situation.
How is the diagnosis proven to claim the indemnity? +
With the official medical report confirming the diagnosis; I’ll support you with the paperwork so the process is as smooth as possible.
